Cao Dai Temple

Cao Dai Temple at the sect’s Holy See in Tay Ninh town is one of the most striking structures in all of Asia. Built between 1933 and 1955, Cao Dai Temple is a recoco extravaganza combining the conflicting architectural idiosyncrasies of a French church, a Chinese pagoda, Hong Kong Tiger Balm Gardens and Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.

Dai Temple is one part of the complex of Cao Dai Holy See. Prayers are conducted four times daily in Cao Dai Temple. It’s worth visiting during prayer sessions, but take care not to disturb the worshippers. It is important that guests wear modest and respectful attire inside the Cao Dai Temple. Shorts and sleeveless T-shirts are not permitted to wear to enter the temple.
