Shwedagon Pagoda

Shwedagon Pagoda, also called Shwedagon Paya, familiarly in English as the Great Dagon Pagoda or Golden Pagoda, is a gilded pagoda and stupa situated in the west of Kandawgyi Lake, and in the heart of Yangon. Considered as one of wonders in Buddhist world, Shwedagon Pagoda is a holy pagoda that all Myanmar Buddhists hope to visit at least once in their lifetime.
