Shennong Stream

Originated from the Shennongjia Forestry District and joint the Yangtze River, the Shennong Stream snakes through the canyons with cliffs towering on both sides. It’s a wonderful place for a rafting adventure and for experiencing the local ethnic culture of the Tujia People.

The experience by boat itself is also interesting. The nicknamed bean-pod boat is small and light-weighted. It needs to be hauled by boatmen upstream due to the turbulence and be balanced by skilled rower downstream through the zigzagging and rushing water.
