Wat Kor Village

In the south of Battambang, on the road to Phnom Banan, stands Wat Kor Village.

The village is famous for its 21 Khmer heritage houses. These houses are made up of now-rare hardwoods almost 100 years ago, surrounded by orchard gardens. They have wide verandahs and exude the ambiance of another era.

One of the most interesting in Wat Kor Village is Khor Sang House, constructed in 1907. The house is adorned with old furniture, family photos and old school certificates. It also provides accommodation at the back section, which costs 6 dollars a night.
