Tep Pranam

Tep Pranam, built in the 9th century by Kong Yasovarman I, is a Buddhist temple in Angkor. Once being the base of a pagoda of lightweight construction, Tep Pranam boasts a large 4.5m-high Buddha seated on a lotus pedestal. The body of the Buddha has been reassembled from numerous stones.

Located northwest of Leper King, Tep Pranam can be entered through a laterite causeway bordered by double boundary stones at the corners and a terrace in the shape of a cross. In front of the sandstone walls are two lions. A group of Buddhist nuns lives in a wooden structure near Tep Pranam.
