Upon arrival in Yangon, you are picked up and escorted to downtown about 25 minutes.
The starting point of your Yangon tour is Sule Pagoda, within a traffic circle you can see “Window sightseeing”.
Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda shows you a giant 'Sweet-Eyed Buddha", whose porcelain face is punctuated by expressive large eyes, vermilion lips and bright blue eye shadow.
Appreciate the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, highlighted by its golden stupa glowing in the light. Later enjoy your leisure time at Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scotts' Market) in Yangon.
Take the morning flight to Bagan from Yangon about 80 minutes.
Visit Ananda Temple, the best preserved and the most revered of Bagan temples, to trace the history of Pagan Dynasty.
Touch the holy Shwezigon Pagoda, Bagan's most significant shrine, the spiritual center for Bagan people. Then head to Shwesandaw Pagoda the first monument in Bagan, also called Golden Palace Monastery.
Enjoy a boat ride to Kyauk Gu Umin to appreciate the amazing sunset view. Continue boating downriver back towards Bagan, watching life along the riverbanks.
Today we drive to Mt. Popa, a great extinct volcano situated about 67 km southeast of Bagan to learn about how important Mt. Popa is to the culture, history, religion and legends of Myanmar. Up top there are gorgeous views back towards the Myingyan Plain and beyond, which feast your eyes.
The rest of the day is free for you to find your own Bagan elements.
Take the morning flight to Mandalay from Bagan about 30 minutes.
Visit Mandalay Palace, which was the first palace built in Mandalay. Then climb upon the Mandalay Hill, a natural watchtower which serves you a stunning panoramic view over Mandalay.
Drive to Amarapura, which is only about 11kms from Mandalay.
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Amarapura by visiting Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, boating on Taungthaman Lake through U Bein Bridge, watching the daily life and education of monks in Mahagandayone Monastery and observing cotton & silk-weaving cottage industries.
Take the morning flight to Heho from Mandalay about 35 minutes. This day is highlight by an interesting light trekking tour.
Popular hill station in the British days, Kalaw sits high on the western edge of the Shan Plateau. It's still a peaceful and quiet place with an atmosphere reminiscent of the colonial era.
Enjoy your energetic time trekking over Kalaw and get acquaintance with the idyllic landscape. The trek spends about 3-4 hours.
Take a boat to explore Inle Lake today. Visit Floating Gardens of Hydroponics system (especially tomato, others vegetables) to know how farmers do their work in the gardens.
Then head to Phaung-daw-Oo Pagoda and visit Intha Village to talk with the local minorities.
Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, one of the most impressive of the many monasteries on the lake with its 150-200 pillars with elaborate wooden carvings. It is also known as the “jumping cat monastery”.
