4 Days Yangon - Mandalay Circling Tour

Upon arrival, the local tour guide welcome you at Yangon airport and transfer to you hotel arranged for you.

Then sightseeing starts with Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, a huge reclining Buddha, a Royal floating bridge on the Royal Lake for a photo stop.

Early morning fly to Mandalay and have a taste of the grandeur of Burmese history by a visit to the former capitals of Amarapura and Sagaing.

In Amarapura, visit Mahagandayon Monastery, a famous Buddhist learning center with a thousand monks, who line up for lunch in silence. Proceed to visit the ancient art of silk and cotton weaving. Next stop is City Harbor Bridge.

In the afternoon, appreciate a special place where hundreds nuns live and study the Buddha scripture before going to the temple-filled Sagaing Hill. Later put a perfect end to today’s trip with excursion around the world’s longest teak bridge at U Bein Bridge.

Stay overnight in Mandalay.

After breakfast, cross the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun which is home to the huge and famous unfinished Pagoda and the largest ringing bell in the world, Mingun Bell.

Then, return to Mandalay for its major landmarks, the holy Mahamuni Pagoda whose Buddha statue is covered with gold leaf, Shwenandaw Monastery (Shwe Kyaung) which used to be a part of the Mandalay Palace and entirely built of golden teak, and Kuthodaw Pagoda, home to 729 marble stone slabs inscribed with Buddhist scripture.
